È un corpo la terra? is a photobook born from a public artwork, generated by the dialogue between a little girl, a child and an artist. It is a metaphorical and poetic narrative about Nature as Body. About the Forest, the Sea and the Human Being, as parts of a living Whole. Photography, graphics and writing compose a visual and circular narrative, cadenced with questions about the common mysterious truth of the body, and the two protagonists give us back the experience of discovery and knowledge that are built by feeling. Anna and Wolf, they exchange doubts, knowledge and non-knowledge. Feeding on curiosity, they orient themselves in deep reflective thought: Do I look at the forest or am I in the forest? And can the forest look at me? Why can’t I see something as strong as the wind? I don’t know what it looks like inside my body. Is the earth a body? is an encounter with the childhood of the earth and of each of us.
