Tribune Diary (1971 -1978)

106 minutes conversation between Luc Deleu and Jef Lambrecht while flipping through, and commenting on Deleu's early diary Tribune, which was made between 1971 and 1978. The diary counts 300 pages, richly covered with clippings, photographs, advertisements, sketches, stamps, notes, drawings, logos, cartoons, advertising leaflets, and maps. Besides reflecting on world history and events taking place in the first half of the seventies, the book refers to Deleu's works created during this period, and to works that he realize

SERENO

Sereno is a journey through the clouds and through time, a visual and poetic tale about the figure of weather colonel Edmondo Bernacca. For Italians, Bernacca was an institution, so much so that he has become a figure of speech today. He was a meteorologist, Air Force general and journalist. He was lucky enough to have been the first meteorologist to appear on television in Italy in 1955. From the 1960s to the 1980s, every eve

No original prints exist. The archive has remained for decades in the attic of the family home in Via Mazzini in Lugo, and was discovered by chance in 2010 by local historian Giacomo Casadio. Paolo Guerra's photogr

ALBUM

Pin-up girls, weight-lifting studies, newspaper clippings, baby pictures… Hans-Peter Feldmann tells stories with pictures. Accordingly, apart from the title page, this photo album contains no text. Even the frontispiece is a photograph of boxes from Feldmann’s picture archive–amassed over many years and comprising images from magazines, advertising supplements, photography books, postcards and collectibles. Travel photos, family snapshots and pictures of friends play their part as well. In recent years, Feldmann has become inc

Fotoscopia

Fifty years since its construction, Santa Maria Nuova Hospital has decided to undergo a photographic examination in order to bring to light some fragments of history. Alessandra Calò’ s photoscopic images, taken with the aid of iPhoneography and printed on glass using old-fashioned methods, are not mere representations of reality subject to the limitations of digital distance. Instead, they go back in time and recapture that soothing feeling of touch – the warmth of a ski

Roma. Never Walk On Crowded Streets

In this book, Giovanna Silva portrays the city of Rome pre- and post-lockdown. Giovanna Silva arrived in Rome in January 2020 and immediately started walking around the city with just an iPhone ('it makes everything not only lighter, because I was walking thirty kilometers a day, but also easier and more intimate, allowing me to shoot without being noticed'). Following the suggestions of his personal guides - artists, writers, intellectuals, Romans - she began to know the city, Silva went everywhere
