Every year, thousands of people around the world experience some form of violence because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Although the mainstream narrative seems to portray an increasingly inclusive world, data show us that not only are forms of discrimination increasing, but hate speech by political and religious leaders is also becoming more vicious. Bullying, bullying, physical and psychological violence are scourges that most LGBT+ people have to deal with. Queerphobia is a text that aims to show, with stories, poems and images, this everyday hatred. Through the forty-two pens that give shape to Queerfobia, Giorgio Ghibaudo and Gianluca Polastri have composed a mosaic of experiences capable of showing, without pietism but also without censure, a state of affairs that needs to be changed. Queerfobia is the cry, fierce and sweet, of those who do not accept instrumentalisation or discrimination.
