Tabula Rasa Expanding the limits of your visual practice, with Chiara Capodici and Israel Ariño

This week-long tutorship with Israel Ariño and Chiara Capodici aims to expand your vision of reality, exploring the limits and the breaches of your visual practice. Your projects will take a stronger and clearer form through daily confrontations, going in depth and looking within, around and beyond them, tightening them through the means of analysis, research and discovery. You’ll get rid of the unnecessary and strengthen the core parts by working together on editing exercises and narrative strategies, focusing your attention on your visual language and creative processes. The possibilities offered by the photobook language will let you take advantage of this medium as a strategic toolkit, where an analog and digital lab will allow you to give a physical shape to your images, designing, printing, binding and relentlessly prototyping.
The immersive experience in the beautiful environment of LaBabuch will enhance a convivial attitude which is always the cherry on top of an intensive creative practice.
By the end of the week, each participant will share with other participantsa visual output in the form of a small site-specific exhibition or a publication.
