Ozge Sahin, Time does not exist.

Ozge Sahin’s work is a quarantine diary written through found photos of unknown people in which present and past, domestic intimacy and the outside world merge. A psychedelic yellow thread crosses the black and white images to bring them back to life and to hold back the emotions of the confused days in the suspended space of isolation, where time does not exist because it is an emotional condition and where there is no end because creative thinking it continues to be free, like that of a child playing.

Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Ozge Sahin is a visual artist based in Rome, Italy. After graduating from Istanbul Bilgi University with a major in international relations, Ozge studied Graphics and Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome from 2012 to 2015. Most of Ozge’s works celebrate human life and explore the female identity and everyday experiences. Her artistic means are from photography to wire and installation. Time does not exist was born during his quarantine period in Artena.
