Peter Piller, Archiv Peter Piller – Deko + Munition, 2008

In this book of postcards, Peter Piller (Fritzlar, 1968) presents a collection of photographs found on eBay using the search terms “Deko + Munition” (decoration + ammunition). Each photograph was taken by an eBay seller who was auctioning off ammunition cartridges. In keeping with their stated function as home decorations, each cartridge is carefully displayed in the sellers’ living rooms.
Over the past few years, Piller has collected these images for his archive and is now making them available for the first time in this selection of postcards.
