Güle Güle (goodbye in Turkish) is a personal project focused on the city of Istanbul. Photographs derive from multiple relationships to penetrate the complexity of the city in a dramatic moment of social and political mutation. Gentrification, the marginalization of the poorer classes, the increasing discrimination of homosexuality, the massive migratory influx of Syrian refugees and the Kurdish community issue are just some of the hidden realities behind the subjects portrayed.
