It seems impossible, yet there has been a world without photographs. And when the first photographic images appeared in the 19th century, they looked nothing like the ones we know: they required hours of work, they were expensive, and in the beginning they were not even made of paper!

The camera buisssima takes us, through stories and activities, to discover misunderstood artists and insatiable travellers, failed experiments and strokes of genius, photographs made of chemical reactions and matter.
