DEANNA-01-2-scaled 2

In ‘Relative Moments‘, Deanna Dikeman recounts the ordinary moments of her family’s activities. From gardening to cutting a cake, from filling the birdbath to mending a garment, from mowing the lawn to picking rhubarb, an everyday life that might otherwise go unnoticed is revealed in a total of 200 sequential photographs. Although a personal quest of the photographer, a continuous narrative embedded in these photographs conveys universal truths about American culture, familiarity, and the endless source of wonderment that surrounds us.
