Zorg Munuera, The So-Called Laws of Nature, 2025

The So-Called Laws of Nature features two acrylic paintings by the artist, scaled 1:1, each measuring 150 x 125 cm, from the series “The So-Called Laws of Nature”.

The project was born in September 2023, during Zorg Munuera’s artist residency at our Atelier in Bologna. The publication features two acrylic paintings by the artist, scaled 1:1, each measuring 150 x 125 cm, from the series “The So-Called Laws of Nature” created between 2022 and 2023.

Each painting was divided into 18 panels and printed in risograph in 4 colours: yellow, fluorescent pink, aqua, green. This process of scanning, calibration, conversion and printing was developed in the studio throughout the year. The book is the result of this process, where each page corresponds to a fragment of the painting, a representation of it in a new, unpublished sequence.
