Vito Stassi, Vito Stassi, 2022

The recent research of Vito Stassi (Palermo, 1980), draws particular inspiration from the painting of the first half of the twentieth century. It is in a temporal interplay of references and projections that the margins within which his poetics moves. In recent years he has exhibited in various public and private spaces in Italy: Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa (Venice), Galleria d’Arte Moderna (Udine) curated by Andrea Bruciati, Galleria Nuvole (Palermo), Galleria Massimo De Luca (Venice). He also exhibited at the major review Die Grosse (Düsseldorf) and at the Villino Favaloro in Palermo in occasion of the collective exhibition Le Stanze d’Aragona curated by Helga Marsala.
