AA.VV, Agro, volume due, 2024

After the first Agro, which was born in 2018 with a masterclass in photography and graphic design and artisanal printing, and focused on the Polignano countryside, “Agro, volume two” proposes itself again as a collection of reflections, exchanges, artistic researches, of multiple visions on rurality, landscape, countryside and living, widening the gaze, not only geographical, to a plurality of representations.

To do this, artists*, photographers*, illustrat*, authors* and authors* were invited to share their personal practices and research, touching on themes ranging from living, to memory, to the relationship between landscape and agricultural production, accompanied along the way, by a selection of words, curated by Annalisa Metta, related more or less explicitly to agro.

Agro, in its visual and tangible form, as a book, carries with it the desire to continue experimenting with the direct interaction between illustration, photography and writing, between digital printing and risograph printing.
