Tuesday November 17th and Wednesday November 18th Anna Laura Longo shows her artist’s books, Atterraggio lunare n.1 & Vision Blanche

Atterraggio lunare n.1 and  Vision Blanche are large-format organism-books, which invite you to fully experience the page by expanding the gesture of leafing, transforming it into an “enlarged” experience, which contemplates a sense of lively and pulsating discovery.
They are works that deepen the shades of white, making use of signs, hatches, forms and atypical versifications, in the name of glimpsing. The two copies are part of the “ton sur ton” series of books and carry on the work already started in the pages of In a single knotty point – Studies on the curvature of the line-verse.

Anna Laura Longo is a pianist, performer, poetry author and visual artist. She has, to her credit, the publication of volumes regarding poetry and music, including Questo è il mese dei radiosi incarnati del suolo (2016) and Nuove rapide scosse retiniche (2009), on show at Leporello. Experimentation in the musical field led her to design works with instruments subject to structural manipulation, abyssal, knife-edged, telluric pianos. She built installations with sculptures and iron tools. She creates artist’s books with original research focused on materials and formal aspects.
