A book-reportage of close encounters with earthlings of Italy that go ultra: starting from the manager of a funeral agency in Mirandola, in the province of Modena, which provides hibernation services. Translated: he freezes the corpses of the applicants and sends them to Russia in a specialized cryogenesis center (legalized practice in that country), where the bodies will rest in silos, at less than 196 degrees, waiting for a “resurrection” through the intercession of technology.

And then reportage from a cloistered nunnery, from the bowels of the earth, from an operating room, from the home of a “village alien”, from a bench on which sits a 22-year-old cyborg, from a sitting room in which a master of the Fourth Way drinks coffee, from a municipal office where a female wrestler works, from a conference of Highly Sensitive People, from the bedroom of a tanatoesteta, from the beaches where a pensioner hunts messages in bottles.

Inside:

–  1 three-year photographic reportage, curated by Michela Benaglia

– 11 narrative reports by: Giulia Callino, Maura Chiulli, Valerio Millefoglie, Alessandro Monaci, Angelo Mozzillo, Sofia Natella, Donato Novellini, Luca Pakarov, Matteo Trevisani, Paolo Zardi

-1 great final centrifuge of ultrahumanity
