Martha Micali, Sogno o Lydia, 2020

The book is a casket studded with small silver signs, born from a discontinuous process, a flow of visions and suggestions determined by the rarefaction of the dream, which turns into matter, paper substance; two small volumes joined by the poem that gives its name to the edition. Photography and text are treated as the form and basis of an unconscious process of wounding in the interface of conscious language. Inscribed to be moved and manipulated: never entirely attributable to a background of meaning, but exclusively to the sensation they generate.
