Yann Linsart, UAP a journey, 2025

Through declassified American archives relating to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) for the period 1947-1969, this project offers an iconographic journey exploring the visual and contextual documents that shaped the creation of a UFO-related imaginary.

Stemming from military and government investigations (Sign, Grudge, Blue Book), these images embody a paradox: they are both traces of an elusive phenomenon and supports for a narrative that is beyond our comprehension. They capture in photographic form the strangeness of a world whose existence we may not yet have the tools to understand.
