Patrick Lindsay, Un sedicesimo n°60, 2021

In 2016, the Signe – Centre national du Graphisme in Chaumont commissioned Patrick Lindsay “Le Lumigraphe”, an interactive installation formed by a set of elements carved in transparent plexiglass of various colors. These units, halfway between the pieces of a puzzle and the gears of a mechanism, can give rise to infinite combinations. The “Lumigraphe” works on superimposition, rotation and light to explore the image in motion, in which colors merge and different textures create optical illusions.
