Lou Delprat, Sex or Politics?, 2025

Sex or Politics? is a publication that emerges from a participatory project centered around an anonymous, hour-long conversation between strangers. The process involved one person who poses a question while another (unknown to them) responds and offers a new question for someone else. This chain continues, creating a thread of spontaneous, unfiltered dialogue. The publication compiles these handwritten exchanges, preserving the individuality of each participant through their unique script, while keeping identities hidden.

Lou Delprat is a visual artist whose work explores the interplay between materiality and identity. She works mostly with photography, film, sketching and time-based media. Based between Paris and Rome, Delprat is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies in Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) majoring in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies (MA).
